Reforming Hearts and Minds with Scriptural Truth

Our Mission

True Reformation is about aligning with Scriptural Truth NOT reinventing the wheel.

Going Back To The Truth:

How things have changed – particularly in the last 50 years alone!

It seems the organised church – that grand, inherited structure, known as institutional Christianity – is facing an existential crisis. This isn’t just a modern phenomenon; as criticisms stretch across continents and time spans – from the Schisms of the first millennium and the 16th-century Reformation to the rise of secularism in the 20th century.

The enduring global pain is the realisation that the very system built to preserve and practice the faith has become its greatest obstacle. The problem isn’t Christ; it’s the corporation.

We see a staggering disconnect where the Body meant to embody selfless love and service has become obsessed with its own survival, transforming into a large, expensive bureaucracy that often elevates human rules, rigid dogma and the authority of a select clergy above the individual’s direct, heartfelt relationship with God.

The result is an Institutional Church that feels less like a vibrant spiritual assembly and more like a decaying, expensive museum. Does this pain resonate?

This mission drift doesn’t just feel spiritually cold; it has led to catastrophic moral and social failures that have shattered trust – from the historical abuses of the Middle Ages to the countless scandals dominating headlines today.

We are witnessing the painful fallout of systems that enabled widespread abuses of power, actively perpetuated social injustices like sexism and racism in myriad cultural and political contexts and consistently prioritised institutional reputation over the welfare of the most vulnerable among us.

For sincere believers, particularly those who have left the fold, often called the “dones”, the core pain point is this deep sense of betrayal and alienation. What was meant to be a sanctuary of truth and grace often operates instead as a flawed, exclusive and at times, deeply corrupt human organisation.

It’s no wonder so many are walking away, still fiercely committed to Christ, but fundamentally “done” with the institution that broke their hearts.

The Scriptural Reformation Network empowers people from all walks of life to engage deeply with Scriptural Truth and Precedent, enabling a more transformative and genuine Christian faith.

Our mission is to point truth seekers back to the teachings of Scripture, fostering a movement of personal examination, repentance, revival and accountability within the Body of Christ.

We connect seekers of truth to the roots of Scripture while fostering Spirit-Paced Personal and Collective Growth.

Inspiring a movement that promotes revival, prayer and the establishment of Simple Scripture Based Fellowships (SSBFs) across our communities, our heart’s cry is a return to the ancient, biblical paths, the salvation of souls and the growth of believers.

Let’s get back to keeping it true and simple, shall we?

At The Core

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Context

“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from the heavens and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles. 7; 14

While previous reformations have been helpful in some measure (for instance in the shaping of western society, the enabling of religious freedoms and in the abolishing of some corrupt practices), it has also led to the birth of many denominations and schools of thought which have spread very widely without necessarily pointing a majority of people back to the rudiments of that simple gospel taught by Christ and His disciples.

The Scriptural Reformation Network has emerged from a profound calling to return to the essence of the Gospel Message.
